See this old gal? This was my Mother's most coveted possession...her tried & true glue gun. She used it to adhere almost everything to anything. It sat in a place of honor: beside her at the kitchen table, accompanied of course by her second most prized possession, her fan(hot flashes) About 6 months ago or so, my father presented it to me in a rather ornate box, which given it's previous owner's affection for it, was most fitting. Today I plugged it in for the first time since her passing, crossed my fingers (as this baby is at least 20 years old), & smiled with joy as after a prolonged period it emitted it's familiar distinct odor. Behold Project Tres!
It's a Christmas card holder(did you guess?) This festive hoop isn't large enough to hold all of our holiday greetings, however I think it will make a perfect display for the most ornate & personal of them. Super easy to make, let me know if you'd like to learn. Update on the bird houses! While Chloe has finished hers I am stumbling along with mine. This one is just about completed, I think I need a little cardinal poking it's head out of the hole.
Needs a little "OMG" i think... Hmm I need time to ponder some more. To wrap it up: Hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving weekend, and did some fun family festive activities. We attended our favorite threshold to the Holidays event this Saturday, Audubon's Fire Engine Parade~ Perfect chilly jump start to the Holiday Season~ Happy Sunday!
